Absolutely! We recommend keeping the charging connector at the bottom of the dock when installed vertically to allow for the safest and easiest iPad docking and removal.

This is one of the unique aspects of our iPad docking solution! The SimpliDock includes an array of strong neodymium magnets in strategic locations embedded inside the dock frame that discretely hold the iPad securely inside the dock.

When you need to remove the iPad, a firm press is enough to overpower the magnets and eject one side just enough to unplug and remove.

Our product is designed for use in stationary, vertical walls. It may also be mounted on an incline from 0º to 90º in desktop/podium applications.

SimpliDock should never be used in a moving vehicle, boat, airplane, etc. The inertial forces could result in the iPad unintentionally ejecting from the dock.

SimpliDock bezels are made from precision cut acrylic plastic. This gives us the widest range of colors and finishes of any iPad dock on the market, which helps the product blend with your decor.

In the case of the "stainless" finish, the manufacturer of the material has laminated a very thin layer of real metal onto a textured clear acrylic substrate giving it an authentic stainless steel look with some distinct benefits over "real" stainless:

1. It resists fingerprints. Raw stainless steel is frustrating to keep clean. Our product remains glossy and completely unaffected by fingerprints. No special cleaners needed, just wipe with a microfiber now and then.

2. It will not scratch your iPad. Pure stainless steel is harder than the aluminum used for the iPad chassis. By using an acrylic coated bezel, we ensure the iPad is safe and protected as it is docked and removed.

SimpliDock has an integrated acoustic waveguide to direct the iPad sound output toward the front of the dock/wall surface. This, combined with a discreet airgap around the speakers (instead of unsightly holes or grilles) allows the iPad dock to maintain crisp, clear sound output while maintaining our signature minimalist aesthetic.

Orders should be inspected for accuracy, manufacturing defects or shipping damage upon receipt.  Customer is responsible for contacting us before installation (maximum 5 business days after delivery) to report any discrepancies.

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all of our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied, let us know and we'll be happy to set up a return for a full refund (minus any shipping costs). Products must be like-new in their original packaging.

Please repackage any items you wish to return in their original packaging and shipping container. Any damage caused during installation or in transit that causes the product to not arrive in perfect sellable condition will result in restocking fees (up to 100%).
